Rask Opticon is a tattoo artist based in Los Angeles, working out of American Ink in Sherman Oaks. You may already know some of his work — the tattooed pin-up girls collection that took the world by storm, or his street art and murals scattered across LA. He even painted the mural that wraps the American Ink storefront on Ventura Boulevard. These days he's best known for his realistic embroidery and patch-style tattoos, pieces that read like stitched fabric patches sewn right into the skin. Rask has been steadily building his presence around the world. He's been featured in Lowrider Arte Magazine and Skin Deep Magazine, and he's the winner of Game Show Network's Skin Wars: Fresh Paint — exposing the masses to his distortion of life.
